Detailed Narrative Description of Project:
Water Infrastructure Modernization Project II (WIMP II) Phase II supervision assignment aims at organizing the day-to-day construction supervision of the rehabilitation works of Water Supply Projects, financed by the EIB. The works are implemented under the FIDIC 2010 Red Book Model contracts.
In general, supervision of eighteen water supply system subprojects is envisaged under this assignment, which shall be located in various regions of Georgia. The technical components of the schemes include a mix of water abstraction facilities, water filtration, pumping equipment, transmission pipelines, reservoirs, water treatment plants and upgrades to distribution networks. The eighteen works contracts are grouped on geographical basis in 3 groups under one FIDIC engineer each. Each group of contracts shall have a separate FIDIC Engineer.
The construction contracts total value is 49 mil Euro.
