Detailed Narrative Description of Project:
The Government of Republic of Turkey has obtained a supplementary credit from IBRD which is used through Provincial Bank (İLBANK A.Åž.) for the improvement of the services pertaining to potable water, sewerage, and storm water and the installation of SCADA system for selected municipalities. General management of this extensive project is carried out by Project Management Unit within the structure of the General Directorate of Provincial Bank. Project is one of the sub-component of “Municipal Services Project II”.
Project area is service area of Denizli Municipality and close vicinity. Existing population is 515.000 persons and future population in 2047 is projected as 1.100.000 persons. Total catchment area of Denizli urbanization plan is 12.000 ha.
Denizli Municipality Water and Wastewater Administration is responsible from water supply, wastewater and storm water systems within the urban border of Denizli. Although there are some other existing and approved projects, Denizli Municipality would like to prepare water supply, wastewater, storm water and SCADA system projects for the whole city. Prepared projects shall be approved by İlbank. Within the scope of the Contract hydraulic modellings of the systems shall be prepared and final designs shall be made based on hydraulic modellings.
DEN3-C1 Contract consists of design, preparation of tender documents, assistance during tendering procedure and construction supervision services.
Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by TEMELSU:
Temelsu is providing the following services;
1. Design Services
• Review and evaluation of existing water supply and distribution system, wastewater and storm water projects and existing networks
• Preparation of hdraulic modelling and identification of optimum systems
• Preperation of water supply final projects, together with detail drawings (App. 2.100 km)
• Preperation of wastewater collection final projects, together with detail drawings (App. 2.000 km)
• Preperation of storm water drainage final projects, together with detail drawings (App. 700 km)
• Identification and design of drinking water regional zone borders, development of the PLC based SCADA system
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities and Cost Estimations
2. Preparation of Tender Documents for the Construction Works
3. Assistance to Client during tendering procedure and contract negotiations
4. Construction Supervision Services (Provisional and Final Acceptance Procedures)
