On 17 August 1999 Marmara region of Turkey lived a big earthquake disaster. The bridges, viaducts and tunnels of TEM (Trans European Motorway) have been effected from this earthquake. The emergence repair works of these structures has been done immediately. Afterward a study need to seismic load investigations of a possible new earthquake has been arisen.
The main aim of this component of the project is perform the seismic loads investigations, study and design for repair and retrofitting of 24 bridges and viaducts which have up to 50 m pier height and 5 double tube highway tunnels. The total length of the viaducts are 11 694 m and the longest one is 808m. Total area of the viaducts are 72 079 m2. The total length of the tunnels is 4964m and the longest one is 2116m.

3. Detailed review of final designs of 5 double tube tunnels and preparation of designs for repair and retrofitting
4. Preparation of bill of quantities, cost estimations, unit price descriptions, unit price analysis and special technical specifications for repair and retrofitting designs of bridges, viaducts and tunnels
