Detailed Narrative Description of Project:
ADB loan mentioned above will be applied towards the cost of consulting services for Construction/Rehabilitation Supervision of the following contracts:
i. Construction of Marneuli Water Supply and Sewage System, including Bolnisi Sewage System;
ii. Construction of Marneuli Sewage Treatment Plants (STP);
iii. Construction of Chiatura Water Supply System.

The construction works includes Headworks, Reservoirs, Pumping Stations, Transmission Mains, Distribution Network, Sewage Network, Sewage Pumping Stations, Sewage Treatment Plants, Special Constructions (crossings) and all related works. The works to be supervised also includes house connections.

The Contracts will be governed by FIDIC MDB Harmonized Edition Conditions of Contract for the construction of water supply and sewage systems and by FIDIC Yellow Book or Engineering Advancement Association of Japan (ENAA) for Treatment Plants

Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by TEMELSU:

i. Supervision of construction works, including STP;
ii. Design review of sewage treatment plants being implemented under Design & Build contracts;
iii. Providing on-the-job training to counterpart UWSCG engineers seconded to the consultants team; and
iv. Providing assistance for commissioning and handing over of works to UWSCG
