269 x 106 m3/year water will be supplied to Ä°stanbul City from Melen River which will be one of the important water resources of the city. The water transmission will reach from Asia to Europe side of Ä°stanbul with an 5.5 km long undersea (135 m below sea level) tunnel. As different type of project units requires different type of qualified contractors, the project has been divided into 11 different contract packages. The project characteristics are as follows:

Temelsu carried out the following services: Project Management (Completed-1996), Final and detailed design of Dam, Bosphorus Tunnel, Transmission Line and Pumping Station and preparation of tender documents (Completed – 2000), Supervision and Consulting Services during construction of above project components will be provided by Temelsu (Ongoing).
