Detailed Description of Project:
Socar and Turcas Aegean Refinery (STAR) that is constructed in Ä°zmir-AliaÄŸa, Petkim peninsula is one of the biggest investment of Socar Turkey Inc. 1.6 million ton naphtha, diesel fuel, jet fuel and petrochemical products shall be produced yearly. STAR Refinery is one of the most comprehensive investment done in one single location. Approximate cost of the refinery is 5 milliard dollars and can save milliards of foreign currency in import.
First step of Works called “Site Preparation Work” includes earthworks, retaining structures, excavation support systems and site drainage of refinery area which is approximately 2 km2.
Services Supplied by TEMELSU:
Following tasks perfomed in Site Preparation Works:
– Preparation of design and working drawings of refinery allocation including all earth works for construction of roads and terraces.
– Preparation of geotechnical design and working drawings including dynamic analysis for splitting slope and necessary support systems ( anchorages)
– Preparation of designs and working drawings of retaining structures including reinforced earth walls.
– Preparation of general site drainage network design and working drawings including rain water from the hills, roads, terraces and sea drainage line.
– Preparation of design and working drawings of walls, fence, manhole and hydraulic structures like orifices.
– All the revision works regarding to above mentioned works.
