Detailed Narrative Description of Project:

Supervision of the construction of the first 14 km of 2X3 laned coastal road along the Caspian Sea coast between Bilgeh Town and Sumgait City. The road is constructed following a new alignment passing through settlement areas and touristical zones.

-Number of lanes: 2×2 + 2×1 frontage road (6.5 km) and 2×3 (7.5 km)
-At-grade roundabout intersection 2 nos., U-turn 2 nos.
-Interchange: Underpass type 1 no.
-Bridge:1 no.
-Pedestrian underpass: 1 no.

Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by TEMELSU:

• Overall technical and administrative management of the contract
• Checking the Shop Drawings submitted by the Contractor
• Supervision of construction and ensuring the quality required
• Control and appraisal of progress and reporting
• Determining the value of approved variations and fixing new rates subject to limitations of authority.
• Issuing payment certificates
• Issuing Completion and Defects Liability Certificates
• Ensuring implementation of Environmental, health and safety and traffic management measures
• Advising the Employer on all matters related to the execution of the contract,
• Verification of “As-built” drawings supplied by the contractors
