Detailed Narrative Description of Project:
The project covers supervision and consultancy services during construction and defects liability period for rehabilitation and enlargement to 2×2 lanes of 47 km long Mekece – Adapazarı road which located on north-south corridor of western part of Turkey highway network. The construction is divided into two construction packages. Both of the construction packages and consultancy services are financed by European Investment Bank. The construction contracts are implemented under FIDIC general conditions and KGM (General Directorate of Highways) special conditions of contract. There is also a 190m long tunnel located on the project route.
