Narrative Description of Project:
Erenler HEPP is a runoff river type power plant to harness the Deviskel Creek flows, a tributary of Çoruh River, in Artvin Province. The Deviskel Creek is to be diverted by the Erenler weir at 656.00 m.a.s.l. to a transbasin conveyance system towards the Çoruh River Valley to utilize a gross head of 470,2 m. The power conveyance system consists a Tyrol type weir, a 40 m long settling basin, two tunnels of length 3134 m and 1794 m, a 151 m long canal and aquaduct, a head pond of capacity 162 000 m3 and a 902 m long surface penstock. Two Pelton type turbines each with a capacity of 22.5 MW are installed in the powerhouse (total capacity 45 MW)
Description of Actual Services provided by TEMELSU:
TEMELSU has reviewed and revised the feasibility report which was prepared by the client. At the second stage final design activities were carried out for civil, mechanical and electrical works comprising drawings, design reports and technical specifications. Tender documents of electromechanical works have been prepared upon request of the Client. After completion of final design in 2005, detailed designs for diversion structures, weir intake and appurtenant structures, conveyance tunnels, head pond, penstock and power plant have been prepared.
