The 2 x 3-lane Urban Expressway 18 km in length, lies between the city center of Ä°zmir and North East section of the Ä°zmir peripheral motorway. There are 7 grade separated interchanges. Project contains 12500 m long (110000 sq m) viaduct and interchange bridges. Length of longest viaduct is 1950 meters.
Design and engineering services cover inception report, environmental impact report, preliminary design of possible alignment and structural alternatives, preliminary cost estimate; final design of highway and viaducts including shop drawings and modelling of design. Services also cover geodetic survey and mapping, geotechnical investigation and evaluation of findings. Design services comprise drainage, lighting, signalization, safety measures, road sign and marking and traffic signals, landscaping design.
