Detailed Narrative Description of Project:
Mersin and its vicinity is furnished with a currently functioning water supply and distribution system. The future planning of this system has been made by MESKI. Under consideration of this planning and the development of Mersin and its vicinity, existing plants and planning decisions will be examined and consequently new designs will be prepared, if necessary. Based on finalized designs, bidding documents will be prepared and support will be given to MESKI during the bidding, bid evaluation and award periods. When the construction applications have commenced, construction supervision will be provided during the construction period planned as 11 months. In the defects liability period which will continue 12 months after completion of construction work, assistance will be provided in technical matters, if required.
Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by TEMELSU:
• Under consideration of the existing plants, prepared detailed design studies and urban development, assessment of the system and statement of revisions, if any, in the design inspection report;
• Issue of new designs on basis of above-stated items;
• Preparation of bidding documents regarding construction works planned within scope of the project;
• Technical assistance to MESKI during bidding stage;
• Supervision services of awarded works;
• Technical assistance during defects liability period.
