Purpose of the project is to purify the wastewater for tanneries in UÅŸak. The capacity of the wastewater treatment plant is 32 000 m3/day and 1 500 000 pe with a pollution load of BOD5= 106 000 kg/day. Four major work stages included in the project are as follows:

• Water quality characterization studies for determination of wastewater quality and discharge criterias
• Feasibility Study
• Final Design
• Preparation of Tender Documents and Loan Application Report.
