Temelsu International Engineering Services Inc. participated in ICOLD 2026 – 94th Annual Meeting

We are pleased to share that Temelsu International Engineering Services Inc. participated in ICOLD 2026 – 94th Annual Meeting, held in Guadalajara, Mexico, between 21-29 May 2026.

ICOLD 2026 brought together dam engineers, researchers, decision-makers, consultants, owners, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss the evolving role of dams in a changing world.

Temelsu was represented at this distinguished international event by our General Manager, Mr. Nejat Demirörs, and our Geotechnical Group Manager, Mr. Özgen Kökten.

As part of the technical program, Mr. Özgen Kökten contributed through the following presentations, reflecting Temelsu’s continued contribution to international dam engineering practice:

1. Integrating Advanced Nonlinear Modeling for Seismic Reassessment and Rehabilitation During Construction of the 94 m High Ballı CFRD Dam Prepared together with the engineers of the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSİ), Department of Dams and Hydroelectric Power Plants.
2. Multidimensional Deconvolution Analysis for Seismic Assessment of an Embankment Dam on Thick Alluvial Foundations: A Case Study Prepared together with the engineers of the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSÄ°), Department of Dams and Hydroelectric Power Plants.
3. Assessment and Rehabilitation of Dams Following the 2023 Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes in Türkiye Delivered on behalf of TRCOLD within the scope of ICOLD Technical Committee B – Seismic Aspects of Dam Design.
