The 2 x 3-lane Urban Expressway, 6.3 km in length, lies between the south end of Ä°zmir peripheral motorway and the city center. There are 6 at-grade and 1 grade separated interchanges.
Design and engineering services cover inception report, environmental impact report, preliminary design of possible alignment and structural alternatives, preliminary cost estimate; final design of highway and viaducts including shop drawings and modeling of design. Services also cover geodetic survey and maping geotechnical investigation and evaluation of findings. Design services comprise drainage, lighting, signalization, safety measures, road sign and marking and traffic signals, and landscaping of the expressway.
