Phase-2 studies aim to prepare detailed design and bidding documents for rehabilitation of 5 dams; namely: Papan(h=100 m), Kirov(h=86 m), Ala Archa(h= 35 m), Bazar Kurgan(h=25 m), Spartak(h=12 m); and irrigation infrastructure of 95 000ha.
During this period the Consultants are expected to:
(i) Assist the PIU with overall project planning, management and administration, and monitoring of project progress and performance;
(ii) Prepare feasibility reports for additional dam rehabilitation and for any sub-projects with considerable new works; and prepare detailed designs and bidding documents for approved sub-projects and dams;
(iii) Assist the PIU with construction management and supervision, including quality control; and with all procurement;
(iv) Organize training programs for local consultants and local contractors; and provide on-the-job training for construction supervision staff.
